What is WP Care?

WP Care is a subscription-based service, operated by Joswig Solutions UG in Germany, which provides monthly website maintenance and on-demand support for WordPress-related issues.

What's included in your website edits? What's not included?

Our website edits do include edits to content on any page, changing banners, headers or footers, changing theme or plugin settings, minor CSS / JavaScript / PHP adjustments ("30-minute jobs"), blog content or context edits, adding a new landing page, formatting landing pages, changing images or text, adding coupon codes or updating shopping carts.

The website edits do not include custom development (creating new plugins or themes), custom code changes (modifying existing features), graphic design, "PSD to WordPress" requests, creation of content, building a new website, or any other jobs that would take us longer than 30 minutes to finish.

Do you manage WooCommerce websites?

Of course! We provide care plans specifically for the ongoing support of any e-commerce site built on WordPress. Websites with advanced functionality like this require our Premium Plan. They take more resources for us to manage, so making sure you are on the right plan means we will be able to dedicate what's needed to keep your website secure, fast and running smoothly.

What hours do you keep?

The WP Care team is distributed, meaning we work from all around the globe! Most of our employees are located in Germany (Europe) and Singapore (Southeast Asia). This gives us the ability to provide a 24/7 service.

What are your usual response times and resolution times?

To be honest, it depends on the ticket. Here is how it works:

  1. 1) After 1-4 hours of submitting your request, you will receive a response email from us that we have opened the ticket, we are looking at the complexity of it and will let you know when it has been resolved.
  2. 2) If your submission was incomplete, we might have to ask you for additional information before we can start. Make sure to provide very clear instructions and necessary attachments (like texts, images or videos) in your email, so we can work efficiently without delays and misunderstandings.
  3. 3) Within 24-48 hours you will receive a resolution email with the changes made on that ticket. If we have a busy day, we will prioritize the tickets of customers, who are on our Premium Plan.

How does onboarding work?

Once you sign up for the care plan that makes the most sense for you, you will receive a welcome email with information on your plan and details about how to securely send us your login credentials. Once you send login information for your WordPress dashboard and hosting provider, we will have your plan fully implemented in less than 24 hours.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes, absolutely! There are no termination penalties or long-term contracts involved. But you will always have to pay for the month ahead, so it makes more sense to commit to our service for 2-3 weeks and cancel after the first month if you really should not like it.
